If there are no seed and you want the download you still might be able to get it from peers if they have the pieces that you are missing. Secondly, speed seems to depend on the seeders, no matter what program you use. I found it near impossible to download if NAT, whatever that is, wasn't doing whatever it is that it does. If your router is more than a couple of years old, it will invariably begin to slow down, and it wont handle downloads as well as a newer one. So here is a bit of advice from a newbie who has been doing some research. To do this: Click Options in the BitTorrent or uTorrent window. Was looking over the Speed problem forums because I was having trouble myself. I've been testing with the same torrent too switching between clients.
